Mobilizing climate finance for transport is more crucial than ever. Supported by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, this roundtable will serve as a platform for international finance institutions, private sector actors, philanthropies, and non-governmental organizations to exchange knowledge and collaborate beyond organizational and project silos. The roundtable will allow these diverse stakeholders to survey the current practices in financing electric mobility and broader systems change in transport.

The roundtable will start by highlighting WRI and World Bank projects advancing climate finance for transport. Then, a two-part discussion will follow, focusing on streamlining and scaling global access to climate finance for electric mobility and "hard-to-abate" transport modes like aviation, maritime, and railway.
