Ryan Whittemore
Engagement and Program Coordinator, Climate Program

Ryan Whittemore is an Engagement and Program Coordinator for the WRI-US team. He works to create and implement cohesive strategies and practices to bolster the impact of WRI-US research through effective stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining WRI, Ryan developed his expertise as a growth strategy consultant across the technology, Industrial and healthcare sectors. He spent two summers working for the AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust providing grant and communications support and was a member of the Heartland-Kalmanovitz Labor Capital Strategies Fellowship group run through Georgetown University.
Ryan holds a B.A. in Politics from Bates College and wrote his undergraduate thesis on the role of transnational climate NGOs in state and local politics.
Ryan resides in Washington DC with his partner, Arianna, and two cats, Chimi and Churri. When he's not working you will find him on the slopes snowboarding.
